There are two easy ways to reach Killearn Estates from downtown Tallahassee depending on where you are going. Thomasville Road is a good way to get to anywhere on the west side of town. Centerville Road will bring you to the eastern border.

Weather

Killearn Estates lies within a humid, subtropical climate. This means residents get to experience all four seasons, instead of only two. Spring and fall are both mild and dry with temperatures close to 60 degrees fahrenheit. In the fall, the leaves turn from green to bright reds and oranges. Summer is the longest season and includes a humid, rainy season between June and July. Winter begins in December and lasts until February. Temperatures tend to stay in the low 50’s, so snow is very rare here.

Killearn Estates has become a popular home for small families because of it’s many commercial properties. Within the communities you will find, dining, salons, pet stores, shops and more.
